USE Google Maps (or suitable substitute)
If you use Google maps or some other map generator use the “intersection of school street and second avenue, Farmville, VA 23901” -OR-
“401 Second Avenue, Farmville, VA, 23901” as your address. You will see the field between First and Second avenue.
Directions to Pitch
From Route 15 South:
Turn right on Oak Street, while passing the hospital on your right.
Turn right onto High Street
Make the second left on First Avenue
Follow First Ave. and the pitch will be on your right.
From Route 460 South (From Richmond):
Proceed through town and turn left on Main Street.
Proceed to the next stoplight and turn right onto High Street.
Continue through the next traffic signal and turn left onto First Avenue.
Follow First Ave. and the pitch will be on your right.
Directions to Longwood
From Northern Virginia/Richmond:
I-95 South to Powhite Parkway (exit 79).
Take Powhite (Rt. 76) to Rt. 288 (Chesterfield/Amelia), follow Rt. 288, exit onto U.S. 360 West.
Continue onto 360 West approximately 35 miles to State Route 307, take Route 307 9 miles to US 460 West.
Exit 460 West at the second Farmville exit (Business US 15 North), follow the signs to Longwood University.
From Hampton/Newport News:
Take I-64 West to I-95 South, turn right onto the downtown expressway (Rt. 195); take the expressway to the Powhite Parkway;
Take Powhite (Rt. 76) to Rt. 288 (Chesterfield/Amelia), follow Rt. 288, exit onto US 360 West.
Continue onto 360 West approximately 35 miles to State Route 307, take Route 307 9 miles to US 460 West.
Exit 460 West at the second Farmville exit (Business US 15 North), follow the signs to Longwood University.
From Norfolk/Virginia Beach:
Take US 460 West to Farmville
Exit 460 West at the second Farmville exit (Business US 15 North), follow the signs to Longwood University.
From Lynchburg/Roanoke:
Take US 460 East to Farmville
Exit 460 East at the first Farmville exit (Business US 15 North), follow the signs to Longwood University.
From Danville:
Follow US 58 to South Boston
Take Rt. 304 to US 360/15;
Continue on US 15 North to Farmville, follow signs to Longwood University
From Charlottesville:
Take Rt. 20 South to US 15 South
Follow US 15 South to Farmville
Turn left onto Business 15/460 at stop light (Dowdy's Corner).
Proceed several miles and veer right onto Business 15 (Oak Street) at hospital.
At traffic light, turn left onto High Street.
