About the Club

Established in 1979, the Longwood University Rugby Football Club has been competing as a collegiate member of the Virginia Rugby Union (VRU), which is apart of the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Football Union (MARFU). Along with seven other nationwide unions, MARFU competes nationally in USA Rugby. Currently, Longwood is a member of the Division III Collegiate side and was previously the 2004 champions of the VRU.

Perspective Rugger Information

Practices are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays starting at 4 p.m on Iler Field (behind the Dining Hall). Everyone is welcome, just get in touch with any of the guys for additional info. (Make sure to bring a mouthpiece, cleats and wear clothes with no importance.)
